SWAPs, Color and Necklines

Today was jam packed with information and ideas, thanks to Jenny and Barbara. Jenny presented us with our Sewing With A Plan (SWAP) challenge for the remainder of 2014. You make it look so doable, Jenny! Then Barbara gave us a peek inside her artistic brain and how she decides on color. And lastly Jenny led us in a hands-on look at selecting the most flattering necklines.

Whew! So much to think about and enjoy.

Jenny with help from Ginny entertains us.

And then there was show and tell:
Cathy tells of a wonderful book and shows her pretty summer skirt.

Ginny shows two upcycled men's shirts - great kimonos now. Wish I had captured her clever pocket on the pink/orange piece.

Great detail in a pocket on Karen's Easter ensemble. So pretty.

Sandie models her Liberty shirt. We think it creates a great ensemble with this skirt. On trend,

Sue's jacket is just beautiful. This picture does not do it justice. Gorgeous fabric. Couture techniques. Perfect on her.
