Who we are:
City-Wide Couture members are garment sewers aspiring to sew at the couture level. Our monthly meetings focus on programs for and by members who present and reinforce high quality sewing techniques. We inspire each other by sharing our garment sewing accomplishments and resources while enjoying the camaraderie and support of our sewing friends.
Meetings take place the 4th Saturday of each month from 10 AM - noon. No regular meeting in December.

ReplyDeleteOne of our members said - – “By coming to CWC I have to push myself to try to outdo my last project. I am not in competition with others but with myself. I also love the appreciation and admiration that we have for each other’s talents. We are all at different levels and we all have a different flare for fashion, but yet we all inspire and help each other “grow” our sewing skills and our confidence in sewing and confidence to wear our creations.”
ReplyDeleteHello! I met one of your members at Dragon*Con (in the costuming track) and I'd love to check out your monthly meetings. Do I need to sign up anywhere, or can I just show up? Should I bring a current project that I'm working on?

I just moved from Atlanta from Dallas. Iam a new member of ASG - so new, I am still waiting on my member pack in the mail. Do I need to bring anything to the monthly meetings?
